assert on Schema Tables Definition and add columns and new tables using Junit

robyp
Hi to all,

My questions are

1) Could be possible with Junit using Assert to
compare the DDL schema of two tables? (DDL is for example the CREATE TABLE ..
sql statements..)

2) Could be possible with Dbunit connected to testing DB
(database like Oracle) , adding new Columns to tables or add tables into db?

Thanks you

Bye
Roby

DbUnit is not a tool for comparing schemas or modifying them.

For schema comparison you might want to look at liquibase (http://www.liquibase.org/).

For schema update you could simply use JDBC/SQL.
