dbunit can't read its own XML-files

Reginald Parker
Hi,

if you save a table with a character column containing hex zero (or any other binary value that can't be converted into a valid XML character) dbunit creates something like .
Since dbunit uses its own code to write the XML file but a standard parser to read the file, the parser fails with this:
Character reference "&#0" is an invalid XML character

Is there an 'official' way to handle this kind of binary data with dbunit?

Otherwise, it should either fail creating the file or find some way to recreate the data...

Thanks,
RP
